Ms. Isgur holds a BA in Political Science from State University of New York – Binghamton, a Masters in Urban Affairs from Boston University, and a Certificate in Real Estate Development from University of California San Diego.
Ms. Sara Isgur, Agent, is a Senior Managing Director with Kosmont Realty. Throughout her 35-year career, she has specialized in commercial real estate transactions with an emphasis on asset development and management, land development strategies, economic development, and public/private projects. She has broad experience in managing development projects from land use concept to entitlement procurement and construction and worked for various Redevelopment Agencies (Los Angeles, San Diego, Vista, and Seaside).
As a Project Manager and Redevelopment Director, Ms. Isgur has implemented award winning redevelopment projects such as the Mercado project in the City of San Diego and the Vista Village project in the City of Vista. She was also involved in the implementation of numerous affordable housing projects as the Sr. Housing Finance Officer for the Los Angeles Redevelopment Agency. As a private consultant Ms. Isgur worked on the Chula Vista Bay Front Plan economic plan during her tenure with CBRE and the Navy Broadway Project with Basile, Baumann, Prost & Associates.
After retiring from the County of San Diego where she handled leasing and sale of County land plus wireless leasing, Ms. Isgur became licensed as a commercial real estate agent. Before joining Kosmont Realty, she worked for KW Commercial Carmel Valley/Del Mar. Ms. Isgur handled land development sales at KW and provided entitlement expertise to clients (private and government).
- Project Manager for the ULI Award winning Mercado del Barrio Project consisting of 92 affordable apartments and 48,000 sf of retail space located in Barrio Logan, San Diego CA.
- Project Manager for the Vista Village Project, an entertainment retail project in downtown Vista, CA
- Consultant for the Navy Broadway Project, a public/private project with the Navy that included a new office building for the Navy in exchange for Manchester Financial Group, the selected developer, developing the remainder of Navy owned land to include IQHQ’s 1.7 million sf mixed use development and a luxury hotel.
- Facilitated the $56 million sale of County of San Diego surplus property to Kaiser Permanente for a new hospital
- Sold 30.63 acres of commercially zoned property in the City of San Diego owned by the County of San Diego for $19 million; it was appraised for $6.5 million.
- Negotiated the Development Agreement for Seaside Resort, Seaside, CA consisting of a 330-room upscale hotel, 125 residential lots and 170 time share units.
Ms. Isgur is Real Estate Agent, licensed by the State of California Department of Real Estate (DRE # 00833903). She is on the Board of the Commercial Real Estate Alliance of the San Diego Association of Realtors, the 60th Street Homeowners Association, and is also a member of the Mission Valley Planning Group.
